People In Need Nepal (PIN Nepal) is organizing a virtual session on Forecasts, the Monsoon Plan, and Early Warning Systems (EWS)
The session details
This session aims to enhance our understanding of the expected forecasts across the region, with a specific focus on Nepal’s context as developed by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM). It will also cover the Monsoon Preparedness and Response Plan (MPRP), including its key components and the Government of Nepal’s readiness for response. This session is highly relevant for those of us working in the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) sector and related fields, as it provides an opportunity to disseminate critical information among our teams and network, working area communities.
The session will be facilitated by Mr. Sabin Adhikari, Emergency and Anticipatory Action Lead, and Mr. Anuj Tiwari, Emergency and Anticipatory Action Coordinator/Impact Forecaster at PIN Nepal.
Who should attend: Board members and staff (including Executive Directors, Managers, Coordinators, Officers, MEAL personnel, operations staff, volunteers, and other relevant individuals)
We kindly request everyone to schedule their time accordingly and join the session at least 5 minutes in advance. If you have any questions or concerns, the CSN Coordinator will be available to assist you.
