This Quality Standard Checklists (QSC) is intended for use in monitoring the establishment and operation of Child Friendly Spaces (CFS). It helps verify whether the implementation of CFS is meeting minimum standards in terms of accessibility, safety and relevance and that services are being provided to an appropriate level of quality. This checklist can also be used in conjunction with other Quality Standard Checklists including the QSC for CFS Design and Planning, which focuses specifically on the design and planning processes for setting up a CFS and the QSC for Cross-Cutting Themes in EiE, which supports the integration of cross-cutting themes into education programmes (both are available on CSN).
