This Quality Standard Checklists (QSC) intends to support the integration of cross-cutting themes into education programmes. It facilitates a reflective process to review programmatic approaches and identify gaps in programme design and/or implementation. It is intended to be used as an active tool that promotes reflection and discussion, providing the basis for the development of practical ‘actions’ to address gaps and improve the overall quality of programming. The meaningful integrating of key cross-cutting themes helps ensure that education programmes are holistic and that key humanitarian principles, and those of inclusion, protection and do no harm, are considered throughout the programme cycle.
